Western Bearded Dragon – Pogona minor minima
The Western Bearded Dragon has a slender body with long limbs and a long tail. It can grow up to 160cm SVL (snout to vent length) plus it’s tail. In the south-west of WA these bearded dragons inhabit the coastal dunes and arid shrublands. Whilst on larger islands off the mid-west coast of WA their habitat varies from limestone soils supporting heath lands and shrublands to sandy areas vegetated with beach Spinifex.
